Family Weekend at Fort D Historic Site Sept. 2-4 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. 920 Fort Street In the fall of 1861 soldiers and civilians were laboring to complete Fort D, 162 years later the fort will be busy once again! Join local Civil War reenactors in a variety of activities including infantry and artillery drills, knapsack packing, tent set up, children’s games, and a fact hunt.
