STREET REPAIR - RECENT, CURRENT & NEXT • Projects on Perryville, Clark, Kingsway and other streets are anticipated to be approved by Council at a September Council meeting as part of the Transportation Trust Fund. • Areas of West & Blattner are coming soon. • 214 Silver Springs near Rural King to be complete this month. • Independence between the Chateau and bank at Mount Auburn, plus nearby panels on Mount Auburn will be complete in September. • West End Boulevard from Rose to Bertling is under full reconstruction with new curb and gutter, drainage improvements, sidewalks, and streetlights. Construction should be substantially completed in October. • Panels of Broadview are part of 15 areas funded by the Capital Improvement Tax Renewal of 2019. Recently completed projects in this program include parts of Kenneth Dr., Fitzgerald Dr., and Cape Meadows Circle. • Intersection improvements at Kingshighway & Cape Rock/Maria Louise will begin after the District Fair. • Also anticipated to begin 2023-24 o Lexington Avenue (TTF6) from Carolina Lane to Sherwood Drive, and West Cape Rock Drive to Sprigg Street. o Main Street full reconstruction, new curb and gutter, sidewalks o Independence Street from Gordonville/East Rodney to Clark o Improvements to the Route 74/Minnesota Ave Intersection • Sprigg Street from Shawnee to Southern Expressway is expected in 2024-25 • Bertling from Perryville to Big Bend is scheduled for construction 2025-26 Learn More
