The Great American 4th of July Celebration has been hosted by our Cape Girardeau Parks & Recreation Department for the last seven years in collaboration with the Southeast Missourian, rustmedia, River Radio and VisitCape. The 4th is a night of celebration, food, music and fireworks, along with appreciation of our freedom, our nation, and those who fight for it. We are also proud to include a Naturalization Ceremony every year which welcomes new America citizens as they take their Oath of Allegiance.
