We are on the lookout for leaf-free-streets! Autumn leaves are full of nutrients. That’s great for forest soils and home gardeners but not for stormwater quality. Nitrogen and phosphorous pollution from leaf litter can be reduced by as much as 80% with a leaf pickup and street cleaning program like here in Cape.
