Thursday 2/2: Cape Parks and Rec Give Back Night

Located: Show Me Center

Women’s basketball begins at 5:00pm

The Redhawks are giving to the Cape Girardeau Parks and Recreation foundation! Watch Redhawks vs. Little Rock and give to Parks when you buy your tickets online.

Friday 2/3: Hang Tag Calendar Make and Take

Make a calendar which displays the date on hang tags. All tools provided and free!

Every first Friday of the month, Cape celebrates the arts by putting on special events and keeping businesses and galleries open past regular hours! This month the Arts Council is hosting a Children’s Arts Festival from 4pm - 8pm.

Friday 2/3: Women in Jazz Gala Concert - Phi Mu Alpha Jazz Festival 2023, SEMO

Enjoy a concert of jazz featuring compositions by female composers and performances by the SEMO jazz bands featuring Sharel Cassity.

Saturday 2/4: 16th Annual Cape Girardeau Polar Plunge and Polar Bear Strut 5K

Fundraiser to benefit Special Olympics Missouri

Dressing up in costumes is encouraged! This year’s theme: Disco

Shop vendors and crafters while supporting Show Me Care Bags! There will also be raffles.

This faculty recital, featuring Gabrielle Baffoni and Matt Yount, will explore some of the many clarinet works inspired by birds and flight.

Tuesday 2/7: Paint Night Love Night - Crisp Museum

This paint night is for couples! Each person will create their own piece with a few guidelines so that when the paintings are placed side by side, a connection is made to show love and togetherness.

View art by high schoolers in the area, picked by local professionals and academics!

This fun racing event on February 12, 2023 is for crawlers up to 10 year olds! Awards will be given out in each age group and t-shirts and participation ribbons will be awarded to all participants.
