Congratulations go out today to our Fire Inspector and 2 Captains! They have served the Cape Girardeau Fire Department for a combined 51 years. Captain Mike McLemore started in August 2003. He is an EMT and a long-time member of the HSRT. He also coordinates the purchase of many of our station supplies. He is currently assigned to Station 2 on A Platoon. Captain Randy Sander also started in August 2003. He is an EMT and is also our Fire Inspector working days at Station 1. As Fire Inspector, he goes out into the community and helps assure the codes and laws are being followed. He has also been instrumental in setting up and implementing our current tracking system for our equipment. Captain Justin Siemers started in August of 2012. He is an EMT and is currently assigned to Station 4 on C Platoon. He services and maintains the nozzles and other small parts and appliances associated with the fire truck.
