Congratulations to Drew St. John on his recent promotion to Battalion Chief. BC St. John has been with the Cape Girardeau Fire Department since 2009. He is also our Fire Marshal overseeing the Community Risk Reduction initiatives. These include fire and occupancy inspections, car seat installations, burn permits, and handling compliance issues. He is involved in the SAFE program and oversees Community Outreach and Education such as the school fire drills each October during Fire Prevention Week and Public Education events like Hands Only CPR and the Home Fire Preparedness Campaign in conjunction with the American Red Cross.
