Congratulations to Driver / Operator Auggie Knutson! Auggie Knutson was recently promoted from Firefighter to Driver/Operator. He has been with the Cape Girardeau Fire Department since March of 2020. D/O Knutson is a member of A Platoon and works out of Station 1. He is currently an EMT but is preparing for the Paramedic test. He is in charge of his apparatus, making sure it is ready for any event. Auggie is also responsible for the upkeep of our fire helmets. For that duty, he makes sure they are presentable and safe. He paints and adds embellishments for the proper rank and better visibility. Way to go D/O Knutson! Learn More
