Happy Anniversary to D/O Jamie Hann, CA Zach Schneider and D/O John Chimienti!!! D/O Jamie Hann has been with the Cape Girardeau Fire Department for 15 years. He works at Station 1 on C Platoon. D/O Hann has been with the Department since June of 2008. As a D/O, he drives the truck to the scene of the incident and makes sure everyone arrives safely to help those in need. D/O Hann is also an EMT. Captain Zach Schneider joined the Cape Girardeau Fire Department in June of 2018 making him a 5-year veteran. He is on A Platoon at Station 1. Captain Schneider is also a Paramedic and a member of HSRT - our team that responds to special incidents on the river, responds to chemical releases, search and rescue incidents, etc. D/O John Chimienti joined the Cape Girardeau Fire Department in June of 2018 making him a 5-year veteran as well. He is assigned to C Platoon at Station 2. D/O Chimienti is a Paramedic and has helped with several departmental initiatives such as the High School Academy and teaching Firefighter classes.
