In May 2023, the first 9 Bricks were installed in the new Memorial Plaza, at the base of Fire Station 1's flagpole. Battalion Chief (BC) Shawn Morris has been overseeing this project and we are honored to have this area designated to honor those who have served the Cape Girardeau Fire Department in the past. We are currently looking to add bricks to our Memorial Plaza.
