Today we are celebrating four of our personnel with work anniversaries in September. They have served a combined 88 years!!! Congratulations to Battalion Chief Brad Dillow and Captain Kelly Allen who have each served 28 years; Battalion Chief Drew St. John – 14 years; and Firefighter Drew Goodale – 18 years. BC Dillow serves as BC for A Platoon. In that position, he is responsible for the day-to-day operations of A Crew. He also serves as one of the leaders of the Homeland Security Response Team (HSRT), leading training for specialized rescue events and special details. He is also an EMT. BC Dillow also writes grants to get funding for much needed equipment. He has been with the Department since September 1995 and works at Station 1. Captain Allen is on B Platoon at Station 1. He is an EMT and the Captain of Engine 1. He serves as an Acting Battalion Chief when the BC is out on vacation. He also helps with our communications equipment and computers, making sure we are at the forefront of technology so we can serve the public well. Ca. Allen started with the Department in September of 1995. Firefighter Drew Goodale is a Paramedic working on C Platoon at Station 3. He is celebrating 18 years with the Department and began his career in 2005. Battalion Chief Drew St. John is our Fire Marshal. He oversees the Community Risk Reduction office. He is in charge of checking building plans to make sure new buildings are built to code and older buildings are safely maintained. He acts as liaison for Public Education Outreach and special events for the Department. This includes events like the SEMO District Fair and events at the Show Me Center. He is also an EMT and works at Station 1. BC St. John started working with the Department in 2009. Congratulations to all! Learn More
