We would like to welcome our new Firefighter to the Cape Girardeau Fire Department. He completed his orientation last Friday. He spent the last 2 weeks getting familiar with our people, equipment, and policies and procedures. He is now starting a one year probationary period where he will move from Station to Station to learn the streets, equipment and capabilities of each Station. Darrel (Trey) Ellis is from Portageville where he previously worked as a Firefighter/EMT. He also farmed. He enjoys being able to help others as a firefighter.
